Birthday Parties Terms & Conditions

We’re delighted you’ve chosen to celebrate your special occasion with us. To help ensure your event runs smoothly and safely, please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully.
1. Party Times
Your booking will begin and end at the times stated on your confirmation email or receipt. Please ensure the allocated area is fully vacated at the end of your session, as staff require time to prepare for the next party.
2. Party Options
Private Hire – Full Pool
- £500
- Includes 1 hour of exclusive full pool use. 45 minutes in Picnic area.
- Pool features are optional.
- Floats are optional.
- Maximum of 30 people (children and adults combined).
- Children under 8 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 16+) in the water.
- Each adult may supervise up to two children under 8.
- Armbands to be worn for non-swimmers.
Private Hire – Shallow End
- £300
- Includes 1 hour of exclusive pool in the shallow end only. 45 minutes in Picnic area.
- Pool features are optional.
- Floats are optional.
- Maximum of 30 people (children and adults combined).
- Children under 8 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 16+) in the water.
- Each adult may supervise up to two children under 8.
- Armbands to be worn for non-swimmers.
Poolside Guidelines:
- All swimmers must wear appropriate swimwear.
- Admission policy must be followed at all times.
3. Supervision and Responsibility
- The party organiser is responsible for the behaviour and safety of all children and guests throughout the event, including in communal areas.
- Pool staff are present to ensure safe use of facilities, but are not responsible for supervising children.
- Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, including during activity sessions, in the party room, and when using toilets.
- No alcohol or drugs are to be consumed on site. Any guest who arrives intoxicated will be unable to enter the facility or be asked to leave. No refund will be issued.
4. Health & Safety
- Please notify staff in advance of any guests with medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs.
- First aid will be administered only by trained staff. All injuries will be recorded via an incident report.
- In the event of an emergency or fire, all guests must follow staff instructions and evacuate the building promptly.
- No non-swimmers are permitted in the deep end, even with adult supervision
- No BBQs are allowed on site due to fire hazard.
- No smoking or vaping allowed on site.
- Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
5. Cleanliness and Damage
- The party organiser must ensure the Picnic Area is left in a clean and tidy condition.
- A cleaning charge may apply if the area is left in an unacceptable state.
- Any damage to equipment or fixtures caused during the party may result in a charge for repairs or replacement
6. Use of Facilities
- Access is limited strictly to the areas included in your booking.
- Use any equipment must comply with staff instructions and posted safety guidelines.
7. Belongings
The site does not accept responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings, including birthday gifts, food items, or clothing
8. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Centre Manager.
- Cancellations with at least 4 weeks’ notice will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 4 weeks prior are non-refundable.
- The Centre Manager reserves the right to cancel bookings. In such cases, a full refund will be issued. No compensation will be payable for resulting losses.
9. Behaviour Policy
Aggressive, inappropriate, or abusive behaviour towards staff or other guests will not be tolerated. The Centre reserves the right to terminate a party immediately if necessary. No refund will be given in such instances.
10. Late Arrival
Please ensure your party arrives on time. Unfortunately, we cannot extend sessions beyond the allocated slot if your group arrives late.
11. Unexpected Closures
In the rare event of closure due to severe weather, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will offer to reschedule your party or provide a full refund.
12. Photography and Video
- Photography is permitted during your party but must be restricted to your group.
- No photography is allowed in changing areas or communal spaces.
- For safeguarding reasons, restrictions may apply in shared spaces.
13. Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
The event will still go ahead as planned unless if the site manager deems the weather to be unsafe, for example thunder and lightning.
Can we bring a birthday cake and candles?
Yes, you're welcome to bring a cake with candles. Don’t forget to bring a cake knife, as one is not available on site.
Is music available?
Yes. Music will be played on poolside and in the picnic area via a bluetooth speaker system for you to connect your device. Music is not provided.
Can we hire an external entertainer?
Yes, external entertainers are allowed. If your entertainer requires special equipment or arrangements, please notify the Centre in advance.
Is there a kitchen available?
No. There are no food heating facilities on site.
Due to health and safety, tea urns and electrical appliances are not permitted.
Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
When can I access the Picnic Area to prepare food?
You may access the Picnic Area 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time slot.
What should I bring?
Please remember to bring:
- Plates, cups, napkins
- Jugs for water and drinks
- All necessary serving items
Is suncream provided?
No, it is recommended children and guests wear suncream during their event.
